MMSB is partnering with Waste Reduction Week in Canada (WRW) to encourage Canadians to reduce the amount of waste they generate in their daily lives. The MMSB would like to encourage all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians to help protect our environment through simple waste reduction actions during this Waste Reduction Week and all through the year!

8:00-9:00 MMSB is getting to half over Morning Coffee as staff once again take the waste reduction message to the streets of downtown St. John’s.
8:00-4:00 MMSB is proud to partner with NEIA to offer “The Upside of Waste Management” Workshop.

9:00-2:00 MMSB is challenging the students and staff of St. John’s largest high school, Holy Heart of Mary High School, to reduce their waste with the “Get to Half @ School” presentation.
9:00-2:30 MMSB staff are hitting the road to motivate the students of Fatima Academy (St. Brides) to reduce waste at school.
3:30-4:30 It’s never to soon to learn about the 3R’s so MMSB is heading to Little Pete’s Daycare (St. Brides).
5:00-7:30 Attention shoppers, MMSB is promoting waste reduction shopping at Longpond, CBS Dominion.
